Welcome to our state-of-the-art dental facility where luxury meets comfort. 

Who We Are

At Jones Dentistry we believe in treating every patient like family. This dental practice has been serving the greater Calhoun County area for over 40 years, bringing the best in Alabama’s cosmetics. Dr. Caitlin Jones took ownership of the practice in July 2020 from Dr. David Cummings. Dr. Jones has taken great pride in continuing to serve this community with quality and personalized care. 

Our office is dedicated to making every patient’s dental experience welcoming and comfortable. We meet every patient where they are in their dental health journey. We understand the dental office is a place where some patients feel unsettled. 

We offer a multitude of services to help make your dental appointment comfortable. A few services we offer: nitrous oxide, weighted blanket, headphones, and TV for your enjoyment. 

Through our modern dentistry practices and state-of-the-art facility we strive to make every patient experience exceptional. It is our joy to treat you and your family throughout the years to come. What do I need to expect for a New Patient Exam and Cleaning?

We are so excited to see you! For your New Patient Exam and Cleaning please bring a few items with you to your dental appointment: Driver’s License, Dental Insurance Card, all medications you are currently taking, and any questions or concerns you have! 

You will be sent New Patient Paperwork via email or text to fill out prior to your appointment. 

We start every new patient with a comprehensive exam and dental cleaning. At this appointment, we will obtain digital radiographs and intraoral photos, and check your periodontal health. This allows us to have a complete and comprehensive view of your oral health so we can create a custom treatment plan for you! Your hygienist will complete your dental cleaning and review ways to help improve your brushing and flossing techniques! You will meet Dr. Jones and discuss any problems or concerns you may have. After your exam, you will be presented with a custom and tailored treatment plan to meet your needs. . 

This appointment is scheduled for 1.5 to 2 hours. This ensures we have plenty of time to meet with you! 

It has been a while since I have been to the dentist, what should I expect?

We understand the dentist can be unsettling for some patients and results in routine dental visits being avoided. We are here to meet you where you are in your dental health journey! This is a judgment-free office and we are happy to assist with your oral health journey to a happier and healthier you! 


Do you see children in your dental practice?

Absolutely! We love treating children of all ages and entire families! We want every child to have a wonderful experience at the dental office. 


How often do I need to be seen for my routine dental visits? 

Routine dental cleanings should be completed twice a year. If you have been diagnosed with periodontal disease, we recommend being seen four times a year.

Why are dental x-rays important and necessary?

Digital dental x-rays are a crucial part of identifying dental problems early. They are a necessary diagnostic tool used by the dentist. Identifying problems early allows for early intervention.
